In 1979 he started working
for his grandfather Candido Corriani,known as "bepi",who
studied at the "Istituto Superiore di arte grafica" in Monza
and was also pupil of distinguished masters such as Alessandro Mazzucotelli
and Carlo Rizzarda.Bruno Corriani started out with the most humble jobs,in
the traditional way,and eventually moved onto the real work of a blacksmith,helped
in this by the fact that through out his life he had always been in contact
with art and drawing.In the 1984 the workshop of Candido Corriani became
the workshop of Bruno Corriani, on Candido 's wishes.Since then he as
been designing and executing various kinds of objects,railings,gates,beds,gratings,sets
for fireplaces,lamps and various other articles included in the field
of artistic objects in wrought iron.Moreover he works on the restoration
of antique,as well as contemporary,iron objects.Candido,Arrigo and Bruno
Corriani have been featured in Ermanno Olmi's documentary "artigiani
Veneti" and in various publications and magazines such asAD, ELLE,Brava
casa,Mille Idee,PANORAMA,Verde ,"Touring Club guide".Various
television crews have also visited him,including the crew from "SERENO
VARIABILE"Rai 2 in 1997 and 2001.he has taken part in
various exhibitions: Regional exhibition
in feltre 1986 international exhibition Vittorio Veneto 1987\2002 MONACO "HIM"
2003 Regional exhibition in
feltre 1995\96\97 In 1997 he
won the first prize QUALITY ROTARY INTERNATIONAL: The same year
he represented "the land of the doges"for the Veneto
region in Graz, Austria. national exhibition in Limena Padova, 2000\2002 Expo Guadalajara 2001
